SINGAPORE — Quant Technology Group (QTG), a Singapore-based trading technology collective, today announced it has acquired TraderWaves, a trading journal and analytics platform used by traders across forex, crypto, futures, and equities markets. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The Platform
TraderWaves offers a freemium trading journal and analytics workspace, giving traders AI-powered tools to review trades, spot patterns, and track performance through a modern, visual dashboard, with automated broker and exchange sync. The platform’s user base has been rapidly scaling, reflecting growing trader demand for AI-driven performance tools.
TraderWaves will continue to operate for existing users, with additional roadmap investment planned.
Across the Trading Lifecycle
The acquisition extends QTG’s platform across the trading lifecycle. For individual traders, TraderWaves remains a free, AI-powered way to build a track record. For proprietary trading firms and brokers on QTG’s platform, it becomes something more: a way to acquire and retain traders more cost-effectively, using engagement and performance data to build loyalty rather than relying solely on paid acquisition and incentive spend.
- 01Individual traders: a free, AI-powered way to build and keep a verifiable track record.
- 02Prop firms and brokers: engagement and performance data that supports retention rather than incentive spend.
- 03Existing users: nothing changes today — the free plan, the dashboard, and the AI tools stay as they are.
QTG’s platform now reaches from the operator’s infrastructure down to the individual trader’s record of their own performance, with the same data serving both.
Leadership Perspectives
“TraderWaves has built one of the fastest-growing communities in trading analytics, with an AI-driven approach to trader performance that fits squarely into what we’re building across the group. This acquisition lets us bring that momentum to more traders as part of a broader set of tools.”
“Joining QTG gives us the resources to keep up with that growth without changing what’s made TraderWaves work for our users — the free plan, the design, the AI tools people actually use. Nothing changes for them today, and the roadmap only gets bigger from here.”
Quant Technology was represented in the transaction by Lawrence Latham of MS Capital.
